I don't want to play the bad guy here, but judging from the current
state of affairs the NAK is already there, even before we have seen
any patch implementing it.

It is not about how intrusive something is, it is about if it makes
sense at a technical level, which we don't think.

So please don't waste your time, unless you manage to convince us that
we want the fields in the kernel API, there is almost no chance that a
patch will be considered for merging.
