D-Bus communication from Java

Hello,

I'm searching for ways of conducting D-Bus communication from Java?

Looking at

	http://dbus.freedesktop.org/releases/dbus-java/

the last release of dbus-java was nearly five years ago. That in
itself wouldn't be a blocker, except it needs libunix-java which
seems to be distributed by libmatthew-java which seems to have lived
at

	http://matthew.ath.cx/projects/java/

but that machine no longer exists.

Is libmatthew and hence dbus-java no longer active project?

What is the recommended way of talking D-Bus from Java?

Any pointers would be appreciated,
