Bus statistics - org.freedesktop.DBus.Debug.Stats

Hi,

I wanted to retrieve some statistics from dbus. I would like to know
things like, how many messages have been sent on a connection, how
many bytes have been transferred/received.

I have found the promising interface
"org.freedesktop.DBus.Debug.Stats" but the interface is not mentioned
in dbus spec. Is this interface meant to be officially supported so we
can have it in kdbus too?

Can someone explain it a bit more, or point to a document that explains it?
