send_with_reply_and_block returning only after pending call times out

These patches are already applied. So I guess, I am once again looking for
pointers. BTW, I have fixed the condition where in dbus_watch_handle was
getting called back to back. We are running the tests again and hopefully
we will have more inputs if it fails.
