I managed to install the SVN version, finally :)    
    
Hard sign and letter U+044B look good now in all the mentioned fonts. So this 
bug I'm closing. Letter Eh U+044D doesn't look really good in DejaVu Sans Mono 
and DejaVu Sans, but for that I'll open a new bug.
