Mark: Have you looked at the M+ fonts?
http://mplus-fonts.sourceforge.jp/mplus-outline-fonts/download/index.html
Although they are japanese fonts M+ 1m, 1mn and 2m are Mono fonts with ASCII
characters. They are condensed and come in various weights (thin, light,
regular, medium and bold). Do they fit your needs?
