            Bug ID: 94328
           Summary: Alternate glyph ſ
           Product: DejaVu
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: General
          Assignee: dejavu-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: sommerluk at gmail.com

Example with and without stroke.png

DejaVu Serif, Sans and Mono contain all the character ſ (U+017F LATIN SMALL
LETTER LONG S). These glyphs have a horizontal stroke.

Would it be possible to include (maybe as OpenType feature) an alternate form
without a horizontal stroke? This could be useful for people that want to make
sure that ſ cannot be confused with f.
