I finally made a tarball out of those files (and renamed it from
media-player-id to media-player-info while I was at it). It's
available from http://people.freedesktop.org/~teuf/media-player-info/media-player-info-2.tar.gz
I'll have to find out how to get the project moved to a proper place
on freedesktop...
