udev-ish replacement for hal-cups-utils?

Can you please put this line on top of the .rules?

SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ENV{ID_USB_INTERFACES}=="", IMPORT{program}="usb_id --export %p"

This will ensure that ID_USB_INTERFACES is actually present. (That was
the reason why it didn't work on my test system, since no other rule
invoked usb_id for printer devices yet).

The second test ensures that usb_id isn't called twice on a device.
