anushasr at git.freedesktop.org: Permission denied (publickey).

I see the error: anushasr at git.freedesktop.org<mailto:anushasr at git.freedesktop.org>: Permission denied (publickey). Even though the public key is added to the account. My username on dev laptop is anushasr and for gitlab is anushas, could that be the reason I see the error?
