Providing more information to users about a package

Gentoo has recently approved a way to store upstream information in
metadata.xml. This includes ChangeLog URI, Bugtracker, documentation,
"remote-id" (SourceForge, Freshmeat, IDs, etc), upstream contact, and
status.
