Dolt: first experiences

Greetings all.

A colleague pointed me to the announcement post about Dolt: http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2008/04/msg00286.html

I tried to use Dolt with Open MPI (www.open-mpi.org) and ran into a  
problem: sources/objects in subdirectories don't seem to be handled  
properly.  I can send more details if there is interest.  I ask  
because there doesn't seem to be much activity surrounding dolt since  
the announcement on 9 April (e.g., this list's archives are empty).   
Is there any ongoing work with dolt?
