I'm using drm-next kernel available here
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/drm-next/2010-10-26-maverick/. It
seems to be working, no problems so far. Kernels from 2.6.33 were always giving
hangs.

I'm using an asus a4500g with mobility radeon 9600 m10:
