It seems the bios that's found when booting in UEFI mode is wrong.
Following that patch and procedure :
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=26891
solves the issue.
When the mode is set, the screen displays weird stuff for a moment.
I'll investigate drm messages to see what happens.
