In Windows, if a monitor is connected to a port on the laptop then it is shown
as connected to the Intel card. If the monitor is connected to the external
media dock then Windows shows it as connected to the Radeon card.

I played around with the fglrx proprietary driver (latest version 11.9) and I
got two different results when my xorg.conf has 2 separate cards defined (fglrx
and intel) vs only 1 card (fglrx only)

When defining 2 cards in xorg.conf I get this:

The invalid bios message.
However, when I only try to use 1 fglrx card (on pcibus 22:0:0), the driver
correctly detects there an intel card and loads drivers for it but then blows
up with another message:
