When you turn on MLAA in your drirc, it applies to all 3D applications.  If you
are using a 3D compositor (compiz, gnome shell, kwin, etc.) as a window
manager, it will also apply to X apps.  If you want to enable MLAA you'll need
to specify what apps you want it to apply to in your drirc.
