I had to format the system because I didn't know how to go back to an older
version. I'm using this ppa
https://launchpad.net/~oibaf/+archive/graphics-drivers/. Maybe here you can see
the problem, I think the package is xserver-xorg-video-ati.

I'm sorry I'm a bit unexperienced in Linux. Just trying to learn.
