Problem only occurs when using the DVI output from my motherboard. When I
switch to the VGA motherboard output, the problem on kernels > 3.10.4
disappears. I'd prefer to use DVI, so I don't consider this a permanent
workaround, I'd still like to get the corruption problem with DVI fixed.
