I applied it to a 3.8-rc3 kernel and while I didn't see the message spam till
now the GPU crashes extremely often (so often that this might be the case I'm
unable to see the spam). Either the image freezes or the monitor goes into
standby. In both cases the keyboard doesn't react anymore (not even SysMagRQ).
