            Bug ID: 93001
Summary: modprobe radeon dpm=0 and starting Xorg sometimes logs
"general protection fault" and no output
           Product: Drivers
           Version: 2.5
    Kernel Version: 3.18.6
          Hardware: x86-64
                OS: Linux
              Tree: Mainline
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P1
         Component: Video(DRI - non Intel)
          Assignee: drivers_video-dri at kernel-bugs.osdl.org
          Reporter: jackfritt at boh.de
        Regression: No

I need to blacklist the radeon module in debian.
Loading of radeon only works with modprobe radeon dpm=0 on the console,
autoloading with kernel command line will crash kernel and needs powercycle.
I have to power on my Monitor before kernel load, not module load!
If i try to power on my Monitor after kernel load, I never get an output.
Even when I try to load radeon module.

I have the problems since 3.18, before this I used 3.12 kernels without these
Problems.

Can I give more info?
