to the dev team:
Since 18 month I'm using Ubuntu on my notebook with restricted functionality -
esp graphic functions; without kernel parameter "nomodesetting" when booting,
the screen  remains black. I posted this situation in Nov 2016 - but up to now
there is no solution available

I ask you, whether in the foreseeable future there will be an driver available
for "my" processor A10-8780P APU, R8 extreme edition 4C+8G,display     Carrizo

Who can give me an answer?
