Not fixed as of 4.18-rc7 and thus not a dup.

The merge including the patch for that bug was done by Linus back on July 5.

While that bug and fix bisected to the same original commit, and might well
have fixed part of the breakage from it, it didn't fix it all, because as of
4.18-rc7, I'm still seeing the regression I reported here unless I patch-revert
the original commit as reported.
