The Linux kernel of Comment 45 is 4.15.0-10.11 from Ubuntu 18.04.
When I tried a later version 4.15.0-12.13, I can not reduplicate this issue on
Ubuntu 18.04.
4.15.0-12.13 contains the following commit.
