The patch from bug 108704 doesn't help for me, the system still boots to a
black screen. The card is a MSI Radeon R9 390 Gaming 8G running on (patched)
kernel 4.19.4-300.fc29.x86_64. The system boots if I leave out dpm=1, but I
haven't tested to see if it's stable.
