You need certain 32bit packages on 64bit systems to be able to use the driver
with 32bit applications.

But this doesn't make the package work on a 32bit Ubuntu, because for example
we don't need a 32bit package for the DDX.

As far as I know we don't support any 32bit distributions any more, but it is
perfectly possible that we are still building to many 32bit packages.

In this case feel free to re-open the bug report.
