those lines:
440.628] (EE) Failed to load module "ati" (module does not exist, 0)
440.629] (EE) Failed to load module "fbdev" (module does not exist, 0)

then amdgpu kicks in.
and nothing happens.
black screen as usual.
keyboard is dead.

btw, I since I disabled legacy FB, I could still see messages of kernel until
amdgpu loaded in.
