[PATCH v11 2/5] drm: xlnx: DRM/KMS driver for Xilinx ZynqMP DisplayPort Subsystem

Hi Laurent.

Some drive by comments, I tired to do a full review but lost the full
picture.

	Sam

General comments:
- The newly introduced drm_err() and friends could repalce uses of
  dev_err() & co. in some/most places
- The dirver uses the xilinx specific term "layer" where DRM uses plane.
  It makes the code less readable for the average DRM reader, but I
  guess easier for the average Xilinx reader. Tradeoff..
- The code uses kernel-doc formatting all over. But the
  code is not wired into Documentation/ se we do not see
  it in the generated doc.
- Copyright => 2020
- It may just be me - but I am confused that the driver is named
  zynqmp_dpsub.
  I reads like something else.
  And then we have zynqmp_dp which is a module inside zynqmp_dpsub...

The modern syntax is to use:
zynqmp-dpsub-y := zynqmp_disp.o zynqmp_dpsub.o zynqmp_dp.o

- No "+=" as the code do not append to an existing variable.
- Use "-y", so conditionals are better supported.

Many drivers use a name similar to zynqmp_drv - for the driver parts.

Is something missing before "interface"? Sentence seems incomplete.

Nice overview!

Nitpick - why start names with '_'?

    dp_aud_clk
    dp_live_audio_aclk

had been much more descriptive - this is the name in the binding anyway.

Modern drm drivers embed drm_device.
But that comment I think belongs to zynqmp_dpsub.

Same rant on names of clk here.

zynqmp_disp._ps_pclk and zynqmp_disp_audio._ps_clk are only used as
flags in the code.
Make this explicit with two flalgs like this:
    zynqmp_disp_audio._ps_clk => bool video_from_ps;
    zynqmp_disp._ps_pclk => bool audio_from_ps;

Just an idea.
