yeah, if it was working with 5.7.0 and not working with 5.8.0, you can just do
a bit bisect on
https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/ between the
v5.7 and v5.8 tags.  Google for "kernel git bisect howto".
