Core snapshotting functionality does include calling into the individual 
driver's snapshot function.
So the diffstat which you are seeing in the dpu1/dsi and dp are just 
their snapshotting functions and nothing else.

Rob just mentioned to me on IRC to move this snprintf inside 
msm_disp_snapshot_add_block(). I am planning to do that in the next 
patchset.
With that will fix this too.

This was originally within dpu1 but based on Rob's comment I moved it to 
disp.
Since this is a debug module I thought its okay to reference it here. 
Its not
modifying anything which will impact the current dpu state.
If there is a strong preference for this, sure I can move it to 
msm_drm_private.
