I think we already get the func name as dp_ctrl_push_idle in the print
so is having PUSH IDLE in all caps really useful?

I suspect this could be more readable by using if/else-if instead of
goto out pattern. Can you make that change instead so we get down to the
bottom of this function without using a label?
