Yes, so as indicated in 
https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/472317/?series=99724&rev=1, I do 
want to start using this even for non-WB interfaces.

I just want to test it little more before using it.

So I plan to add this in this series and in another change I will start 
using it for all encoder types.
