Interesting, I think I remember seeing something like this on ARM as
well but we didn't run into any problems with GFP_DMA32 there.

Yeah, that's probably a good idea.
I mean in general we should avoid GFP_DMA32 altogether here, but for
this we would need a function to get memory with the best possible
accessibility for all devices.
