I also suspended (to memory) and resumed the system several times without problems. My system informations: System: Lenovo Thinkpad T500 Graphics card: Mobility Radeon HD 3650 (RV635/M86) OS: openSUSE Leap 42.2 Kernel: 4.4.36-8-default OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on AMD RV635 (DRM 2.43.0, LLVM 3.8.0) OpenGL core profile version string: 3.3 (Core Profile) Mesa 11.2.2 As you can see from my earlier comment (<a class="bz_bug_link bz_status_NEW " title="NEW - Rv6xx dpm problems" href="show_bug.cgi?id=66963#c261">https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=66963#c261</a>), I have been testing various dpm configurations before on the same system without much success. However, apparently with the update stack this issues doesn't appear any more - will do some more testing though to further verify this. Please let me know if you need any further information.
