<pre>I just received my replacement MG279Q, here is what changed and what didn't.
The monitor OSD still reports 139Hz instead of 144, BUT all artifacts (vertical
lines) are gone.
So to everyone who has these issues ( <a href="show_bug.cgi?id=93826#c50">comment #50</a> ) with an Asus MG279Q, I
recommend RMAing the monitor with a description of your issues.
I don't know if the fixes are incorporated into the standard firmware already
or if Asus only applies them if you ask for it.</pre>
