Upon restarting the machine, I still found the resulting xonotic-glx.trace file on my drive. Unfortunately the trace seems to end several seconds before the crash, despite my attempts to restart the system using the REISUB SysRq keys. A warning in the console also indicates this when playing back the trace: warning: unexpected end of file while reading trace Do you have any advice on how I can make sure the trace captures the moment of the freeze, rather than last recording several seconds before it happens? Would it perhaps be possible to use SSH or some other library to create or deposit the recorded trace on my other computer via LAN connection? Meanwhile I'm attaching the output of /var/log/messages which I understand is the name of /var/log/syslog for my distribution.
