Although, It does clear up as soon as I stop moving the window. Alternatively, I was thinking of moving to using Wayland, however, XFCE4 doesn't seem to support it so that's not an option for me. Perhaps someone can test that on their own system. Anyhow, I'm happy with the functionality of my current albeit partial solution.
