Someone posted a first attemp to this i think ? Have to look in the
archive.

I think one driver is the best solution. Moreover we could then add
support for r300/r400 when it will be in better shape.

Maybe adding a module radeon_new(or any other good name) and start
with what has already be done then add things in order to came at
the same level of radeon & r200 modules should be the things to start with.
Thus when the new driver seems right it could be made default...
