IMX6 Etnaviv accelerated X11 config?

Greetings,

I haven't been able to find a set of instructions for getting an
accelerated X11 running on IMX6 on top of Ubuntu with either Ubuntu's
4.15 kernel or a mainline kernel. I'm looking for a packaged solution
where the various components do not need to be built as I understand
that everything has been available in packaged releases for a while
now. Its likely the only thing I lack is a proper Xorg.conf file
suitable for Etnaviv.

Following getting that working I would love to do the same with
Wayland so I would welcome those instructions as well. My knowledge of
Wayland is still very minimal so I'm not sure I understand all the
pieces. The way I understand it is that Wayland is a protocol and
Weston is an implementation of that, but if you want to run
non-wayland-ported X11 apps you would need a modified Xorg server that
speaks Wayland.
