As I stated in my earlier message, I'm using Pardus
(http://www.pardus.org.tr/eng) and am trying to prepare an exempi
package for inclusion in the distribution.

Pardus generally doesn't carry static files in its packages (that's
also the case with boost), as I understand from your explanation that's
why the tests fail.

Thank you for your help, I'll just disable boost at configure, skip
"make check" and get on with it.
