Farstream 0.1.x branch patch

Hello,

As you may/may not know, Pidgin uses GST 0.10 and therefore Farstream 0.1. One 
use of Farstream is the Lync plugin (pidgin-sipe). Unfortunately there is a 
crasher bug[1] in Farstream, but I have developed a patch for it.

I understand you've moved past 0.1.x development, but Pidgin is not upgrading to 
GST 1 any time soon and many users would find it beneficial if Pidgin would stop 
crashing when a Lync call is made to them.

Would you be willing to at least review the attached patch and possibly accept 
it towards a 0.1.2.1-type of release?
