Is it possible to use Flatpak in applications such as VLC Media Player?

Thank you for your answer, it is what I thought. It's crazy to see that kind of comments when there has been no communication.

We currently don't have a solution to that, yes, but we've never said we
were unwilling to fix them. In fact, it is an open issue in our bugtracker:
https://github.com/flatpak/flatpak/issues/12

Also, I don't remember the VLC developers asking about this.

This is just work that we have to do, as everything else.
