no such metadata / no such ref errors on the command line

Interestingly enough, I was just asking Matthew Leeds today if he had seen the exact same error. I was experiencing this while using “ostree admin upgrade” to update my OS.

I ended up solving it by using “ostree pull $commit_hash” manually and retrying after that completed downloading the missing objects.

Adding ostree-list to the CC too if people there have a better idea of what may be happening.
