2 machines, 1 flatpak working, other not

I have 2 machines running fedora 30.  On one flatpak works as
expected.  Example:

On the 2nd machine it finds little:

[ nothing else ]

On the 1st machine:
 flatpak remotes
Name                              Options
fedora                            system,oci
flathub                           system
org.mozilla.FirefoxNightly-origin system,no-enumerate

On the 2nd machine:
ssh nbecker7 flatpak remotes
fedora system,oci
flathub system
code-origin system,no-enumerate

Any ideas what could be wrong?  It looks like both machines include
'flathub' as a source, which is where we should find 'visual studio
code', but search only shows it on 1 machine and not the 2nd.
