While it's probably possible to integrate Flatpak into the Linux support on
ChromeOS, it would not be an easy or quick option for Chromebook users in
general. You may want to look into Chrome extensions, progressive web apps
(PWAs), or Android apps. Those options that would all be much easier to use
with Chromebook deployments. Also, if all your script needs to do is
install additional programs, you may want to look into Google's own
management tools for ChromeOS [1]. Those tools are not free (in terms of
cost or the source code), but neither is ChromeOS itself.

Our scripts are and will always be free to use, and if we have the

While I'm sure Flatpak would appreciate having that kind of information
shared, Flatpak is free, open-source software (FOSS) that you do not need
anyone's permission to use.
