Leaving aside your other arguments without comment due to their lack of
merit, here you're just plain wrong.
Flatpak is Free Software, and Free Software is political movement. The
reason why Free Software like Flatpak exists is quite literally to
address the unethical behaviour of proprietary software companies by
providing a viable, libre alternative. Thus it is completely consistent
for Free Software projects to address ethical problems such as this one.
If you don't like it, you're always free to go use Windows or MacOSX,
I'm sure there's no consideration of the ethical implications of their
proprietary systems on their mailing lists.
