The installation is unable to save files,

on other distributions unable to access NDS they talk of commenting out
the two SAL_ENABLE lines in:
  usr/lib/libreoffice/program/soffice
# file locking now enabled by default
SAL_ENABLE_FILE_LOCKING=1 export
SAL_ENABLE_FILE_LOCKING

And also setting some value in a LibreOffice GUI 
options:Open Expert Configuration:lock

I've not been able to find such a file or configuration parameter in
the LibreOffice installation that Flatpak has installed in ChromeOS.

I just need LibreOffice to save and read from a local file directory.

Any assistance with ideas or known solutions are greatly appreciated.
