Chromebook Help

I'm currently using a Samsung Chromebook 3 trying to install flatpak. After
running the "sudo apt install flatpak" it runs downloading all the stuff;
but when i input "$ sudo flatpak remote-add --if not-exists flathub
https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo" it doesn't do anything. It
doesn't download the GUI, i can't run flatpak apps from the official
website. Any ideas?
