Apparently, I wasn't clear. I've had this same issue the entire time I've been
using the Flatpak version of Evolution. Reverting the version of Flatpak will,
at best cut down the number of reboots needed, but it won't fix the issue.

Part of the problem is the Evolution death by certificate validation failure and
I would assume another part is related to Flatpak.  If I could figure out how
to force flatpak to reset ( kill everything related to it ), then everything
would be good as no reboots would be necessary.
