The Flatpak package is actually already preinstalled, you only have to add the Flathub repository with the same command as for, say, Debian. Although graphical installation of Flatpaks is not possible with the Nitrux software center, it works very nicely with Gnome Software or Plasma Discover if the respective plugins are installed.
