Also FontConfig do not report WOFF as the font format and instead reports the
underlying format inside the WOFF container, which means applications can’t
even avoid WOFF fonts if they wanted to:

$ fc-query -f "%{fontformat}\n" amiri-regular.woff
TrueType

$ fc-query -f "%{fontformat}\n" Mada-Regular.woff 
CFF
